Class Policies


Student Cancellations & Refunds:

We understand that registered students' plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations must be submitted to the School office by phone at (225) 293-6000 or by email at info@burkbaker.com no less than five (5) business days prior to the first day of class. Timely cancellations are eligible for either rescheduling or a refund. Refunds may be subject to a processing fee of three percent (3%) of the original payment amount. Cancellations received less than five (5) business days before the start of class are not eligible for a refund.

Class Cancellations or Changes:

All class start dates are subject to change or cancellation due to circumstances beyond the School’s control, including but not limited to below-minimum enrollment, severe weather, or local emergencies. In the event of a schedule change or cancellation for a specific course(s), the School will provide notice to all registered students at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled start time along with information regarding next steps.

Your Privacy:

All information provided to the School by students is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties, except as required for regulatory course credit reporting to the Louisiana Real Estate Commission (LREC), the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS), or other applicable licensing commissions.
