Home Inspection

Licensed home inspectors must complete 90 hours of classroom training plus 40 hours of in-field training. They must also pass a state exam. We offer home inspection classes in Baton Rouge and Lafayette. This course satisfies the educational requirements set by the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors for an applicant for a Louisiana Home Inspector’s License. Topics include: Structural Systems and Components, Exteriors, Roofing, Plumbing, Heating, Heat Pumps and Air Conditioning, Electrical, Interiors, Insulation, Ventilation, and Professional Practice. Refunds will be given if student cancels within 48 hours of the start of class. Refunds may be subject to a 3% processing fee.
