Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) 20-Hour Pre-Licensing Course

This 20-hour, live, in-person Mortgage Loan Originator Pre-Licensing course is designed to satisfy the NMLS SAFE Act education requirement and prepare students for entry into the mortgage lending profession. The course delivers a clear, structured overview of residential mortgage lending, with instruction led by experienced professionals who bring real-world perspective into the classroom.

Topics include federal mortgage lending laws and regulations, ethics and fair lending, traditional and non-traditional loan products, and the complete loan origination process from application through closing. Emphasis is placed on understanding regulatory responsibilities, industry standards, and practical concepts tested on the national licensing exam.

Through interactive instruction and focused discussion, students gain the foundational knowledge needed to move forward with confidence toward MLO licensure.

Class Policies

Student Cancellations & Refunds:
Cancellations must be made at least 5 business days prior to the start of the class. Refunds will be given if student cancels at least 5 business days to the start of class. Note that refunds may be subject to a 3% processing fee.

Class Cancellations or Changes:
All starting dates are subject to change or cancellation due to potential events that are out of the School's control. In the rare case that a class start date is cancelled or changed, we will notify the registered students at least 24 hours before the start of class, and provide further information at that time.

Privacy:
All information received from the student will be considered confidential and will not be made available to third parties except for purposes of reporting credit hours to NMLS or to the state of Louisiana.
