Who We Are

Family-owned and operated by the Baker family since 1981, we have prepared thousands of students each year, helping them start their new career and further expand their real estate expertise.

Our instructors’ personable and accessible approach to teaching ensures that our students’ class experience is both educational and engaging. Our online courses are materially comprehensive and presented in an intuitive, easy-to-use online interface.

We develop and deliver educational programs that advance licensees’ fundamental knowledge of the industry, which motivates their active participation in it.

We prepare you to not only pass your real estate exams — but to also thrive as a fully knowledgeable professional in the world of real estate.

We are a family business committed to our students. Just ask one of our graduates and they will tell you…

Burk Baker is the school where the student comes first.

In Memory of Burk Baker | Our Founder

Burk Baker

Burk was a highly respected leader, instructor, advisor, and trusted friend in the Louisiana real estate community for 38 years. Our local and statewide community reciprocated its respect and appreciation for him, leaning heavily on his expertise and counsel over the years.

Together with his wife Lisa, they built out the School’s educational curriculum and licensing offerings, combining it with a personable and accessible style of teaching that motivates students to learn and participate.

Burk summarized his and Lisa’s approach in one simple phrase: “We’re the School where the student comes first.” That statement defines the School’s guiding principle — at Burk Baker we put each student’s education, satisfaction, and self-investment above everything else.

We have continued our work since his passing to keep his legacy alive and fulfill the core principles he established.

We miss Burk every day. He will never be forgotten.
