Home Inspection
|
Licensed home inspectors must complete 90 hours of classroom training plus 40 hours of in field training. They must also pass a state exam. We offer home inspection classes in Baton Rouge and Lafayette. This course satisfies the educational requirements set by the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors for an applicant for a Louisiana Home Inspector's License. Topics include: Structural Systems and, Components, Exteriors, Roofing, Plumbing, Heating, Heat Pumps and Air Conditioning, Electrical, Interiors, Insulation, Ventilation and Professional Practice. Upon completion of this course you must complete your in field experience working with a licensed home inspector. A list of inspectors who are approved for in field training is available at www.lsbhi.state.la.us. |
